We advise tourists to park their cars in the car park Centrum-Station (railway station). This car park has a capacity of 1,500 cars, applies the lowest rate : € 3,50/24 h including a bus ride to the centre and back. Walking distance to the centre of Bruges is approximately 10 minutes.
From the train station to the centre
The train station is situated close to the historical centre.
● 10 minutes on foot to 't Zand-square (start of the shopping streets)
● 20 minutes to the market square (Markt)
Buses run frequently from the main entrance of the train station to the centre (about every two minutes).
Take any bus indicating "via centrum" (no. 1,3,4,6,11,13,14,16) and get off either at 't Zand, Sint-Salvatorskerk (church) or Markt.
Bus tickets can be bought at the bus ticket office (De Lijn) just in front of the main entrance of the train station. Tickets are also available on the buses, but a supplement is charged.
