General conditions
> A € 5.00 administration fee will be charged per booking (daytrip).
> Toerisme Brugge will only accept bookings for groups of at least 20 paying people. If the number of participants is less than 20, the price charged will be the price for 20 participants. However, this does not apply to guided walking tours.
> Daytrips must be booked in writing at least three weeks in advance. Guided walking tours can be booked up to one week in advance.
> Toerisme Brugge always asks a 30% deposit per booking (with the exception of guided walking tours). The balance is to be paid to the various suppliers.
> Deposits can be paid by credit card or bank transfer. Payments can be transferred into bank account number 091-0130387-48 (+IBAN: BE11 0910 1303 8748 – BIC n° GKCCBEBB) held by “Toerisme Brugge – Toerismehuis St. Jan, Postbus 744, B-8000 Bruges”. Payments by credit card can only be completed if the credit card number, expiry date and CVC number (last three digits on reverse of card near signature) are mentioned. Bank charges are payable by the customer. Cheques and vouchers will not be accepted.
> Upon receipt of the deposit, we will send you all details of your daytrip. In case the deposit has not been paid before the date mentioned on the offer, we can not guarantee your reservation. In this case we always
charge a € 15.00 administration fee.
> The number of participants can be altered up to five workdays prior to the planned visit (maximum decrease of 10%). Should the number of participants be decreased after this, one has to pay for the originally mentioned number of participants (with a minimum of 20). Alterations are only allowed twice.
> Cancellations must be made in writing to Toerisme Brugge at least seven working days prior to the day of the planned visit. We always charge a € 15.00 cancellation fee.
> In case of a cancellation less than seven working days prior to the visit half the cost of the original booking will be charged. In case of a cancellation less than 48 hours before the visit, the full cost of the service will be charged.
> For guided walking tours the maximum number of participants is 25 persons per guide (no minimum required).
> The guide is to be paid cash on the spot (in EUR). You will be given a receipt.
> Cancellations or alterations of guided walking tours can be made up to three working days prior to the day of the planned visit. In case of a cancellation or alteration less than three working days before your visit, the full amount (i.e. € 50.00 per guide) will be charged. Should the group fail to arrive, or arrive more than one hour after the agreed departure time at the meeting point, the total amount of € 50.00 (+ administration fee) will be charged.
> For guided tours of longer duration (full day tours or tours outside Bruges), it is customary to invite the guide to a meal at the expense of the group. The total fee will consequently be reduced by one hour (= € 25.00).
> If the guided walking tour takes place outside the city centre, a € 5.00 transportation fee will be charged.
> The amount paid per guide only applies to the guided walking tour itself. If you have planned a guided museum visit, you have to pay the tickets cash on the spot.
> We kindly ask you to always arrive right in time at the meeting point.
> The guide’s name is not known beforehand and he/she does not have a mobile phone at his/her disposal. If you wish to receive the guide’s contact details, we advise you to contact the guide association directly.
> Toerisme Brugge acts as an intermediary and accepts no liability for any problems on the part of the customer and/or the service provider, or for any accidents or other circumstances beyond its control.
> A parking charge is payable for the coach park ‘Bargeplein’, situated between the train station and the ‘Katelijnepoort’:
- Up to 4 hours’ parking: € 13.00
- Up to 11 hours’ parking: € 20.00
- More than 11 hours and per 24 hours: 25.00
> There are sanitary facilities at the coach parking ‘Bargeplein’. Your guide can also pick you up from here.
